Down the dark, bending road I wondered, Not aware of what the night held for me. As I approached the manor I spotted the towering statue, an angle holding a sword on the floor, a protector of the manor my uncle had told me, an irony I had concluded. As I walked closer I was greeted by a mighty wooden door, the ivory had overgrown a lot the doors and windows and all That was visible through the cracks in the ivory was a flickering light. As I knocked on the door a ripple of thunder shattered the silence, I knew that not getting inside would result in me getting soaked so I ran round the back of the manor and used the key under the mat to open the glass conservatory door. Once inside I admired how big the conservatory was, noting the size was considerably bigger than most houses. I wondered through the cold, damp conservatory, the shadows dancing on the wall. I Heard a smash then something moved behind me, I looked around and to my horror saw it.......
