Once scientists thought dragonflies lies were not able to fly in the wind. But now recognising that their wings are directly attached to their muscles, and because of the long length of their veins, they can reach altitudes of 2,000 metres or more, in the most powerful of winds. One amazing thing is that they can change their centre of gravity by pumping lymph fluid right to the tips of their winds. It not that totally amazing. And they can reach up to speeds of 60 mph. Incredible.
