Colorful rays fill the air. Their vibrant strands stretch for miles. Yellow, orange, gold are the colors that they shed. An evening ritual performed each night.
I sit outside and wonder exactly what goes on. How a giant ball of gas can rise and fall each day. My science teacher tells me "It's all just an illousion. The earth spins causing it to come in and out of focus you see." I see, I guess but when should I believe anything that comes out of my silly teacher's mouth.
But now I sit in awe of the beautiful sight. The golden rays that span before my very own blue eyes. Slowly it sinks and now it's gone. How I can't wait until tomorrow night.
