"Where are we going Chris." I said. "I thought your house was the other way."
"It is, but as I told you, I know a special way to get to my house without anyone seeing you." he said.
We were still in the woods and I was starting to wonder if choosing to stay with Chris was a good idea. I mean I had a family. My mom would probably just drive me back to jail though so we wouldn't get into any more trouble than we already were. "Was his mom okay with this?" I thought. Chris would be hiding me in his room during the day so the cops wouldn't find me, but that didn't mean his family wouldn't find me. I clicked on my special eyes anyways staying on high alert in case this was a trap. Where could Cris be taking me?
We made it to the edge of the woods behind an old abandoned mill. Chris brought me inside and over to a door in the far right corner.
"Open it." he said.
"Why are we here?" I said. "This obiously isn't your house, unless things have changed in the past year which I don't think they have." My super eyes were still clicked in and I could see that this was a stair way leading underground. Why in the world would he want to bring me into an underground tunnel. The thought of what he may do to me made me shiver.
"Don't worry, this is not my house Ally but a secret passage way. I found it about a month ago while out trecking through the woods and fortunetly it opens up behind my house." Chris said. He opened the door and gestered for me to walk in. "Ladies first."
I placed my hand on the railing and walked down the steps. Chris was following close behind me. When we arrived at the bottom, Chris grabbed my hand.
"Don't worry Ally. Your safe with me."
I was happy Chris was holding my hand. He made me feel safe and happy, exspecially with everything that had been going on. I loved him and didn't know why I had doubted him earlier. Chris would have never wanted to hurt me in the first place. For his sake, I clicked off my super eyes and just enjoyed his company.
We walked in the tunnel for about twenty minutes. Chris made me explain everything about what I did to get in jail in the first place, how the trial went, and exspecially how I escapped. This took pretty much the whole time. When we neared the end of the tunnel, I saw a big red door.
"We're here." Chris said opening the door. "Close your eyes, I have a suprise for you."
I closed my eyes wondering exactly what he wanted to show me. His strong, but gentle hands came over my eyes covering them so I couldn't see even if I wanted to. He stood behind me and carefully gided my body across the yard. Then he stopped.
"Okay. Open your eyes Ally." he said.
I was confuzed. All that was in front of me was his basement door.
"Open it." he said. "Your suprise is inside."
Again I did what he said, but this time I was shocked. Equitment was everywhere each ment to do a specific task. I had never seen anything before like this in my life.
"What is this?" I said.
"It's our labotory." Chris's mom said appearing out of nowhere. "Welcome Ally. Chris already told me why your here, but I bet your wondering why your in our basement.
"Yes I am actually." I said.
"This again as I said is our labrarory. You like Chris are one of a small group of special people in the world who are different from everyone else." Chris's mother said.
"We can see things Ally others can't. I know you know what I'm talking about and thats one of the few reasons why I've always loved you." Chris said.
"So then why do you have all this equitment in your basement?" I said.
"It is to help train your powers Ally. Your job while your here is to get full control of your power. I won't make you stay down here though, you'll stay in Chris's room." his mom said.
"Come on Ally." Chris said. "I'll show you around."
