"You aren't going to run away again are you Ally?" Chris said wrapping his arm around me.
We were inside now sitting on his bed. We had changed into our pajamas and figured we'd just hang out upstairs.
"I promise." I said.
"Good. I don't want to loose my Ally Boo." Chris said.
"Ally Boo?" I asked. "Where'd you come up with that?"
"I figured I'd give you a cute nickname like all couples do." Chris said. "Ally Boo sounded cute."
"Fine Chrisy Wisy" I replied.
"Okay I'll lay off the nickname." Chris said. "Lets play truth or dare. You first."
"Truth." I said. I was afraid to see what Chris would say for dare.
"Okay. How many boyfriends have you had before me?" he said.
"None." I replied. "You should have known the answer to that anyways considering we've been best friends since the first grade."
"I was just making sure." Chris said.
"Your turn." I said. "Truth or dare.
"Dare." he said boldly.
"Okay." I said. "I dare you to let me draw a face on your stomach."
Chris gave me a look of "I could have done better. You got an easy one because your my girl friend and I didn't want to hurt you." I grabbed a box of markers behind me as Chris took his t-shirt off. He layed down on his back on the floor and I sat down next to him.
"Don't look." I said.
With a blue marker, I drew two big eyes on the upper part of his stomach. I then grabbed a black and brown marker. With them I drew a big nose and a hairy moustash. Finally with a red marker I made bright red lips.
"All done." I said. "You can look now."
Chris sat up and looked at his stomach. He gave me a funny look.
"Really Ally?" he said. "Thats the best you could do?"
"Yeah! You've got a problem with that?" I said jokingly. He probably did. I wasn't the world's best artist and my face lookes like a clown.
"How about you kids get some sleep." Chris's mom said to us in the door way. She was dressed in a night gown and had a serious look on her face. It was midnight now and we were being kind of loud.
"Sorry mom." Chris said.
"It's okay honey." she said as she turned off the light and shut the door behind her.
"Good night I guess." Chris said.
"Good night Chris. Good night." I said. It really had been a good night.
