"So Ally, what have you done this time?" the principle asked.
"Why is that that same question you ask me each time I come in her?" I asked.
"Kids just don't show up here because they can. Theres always some reason why Ally and your about to tell me yours."
It was true. The principle's office was the most dreaded place at school where you could smell the fear and see the tears. It didn't help that Mrs.Glouson always gave you that look with her eyes that dug into your soul. With her dark, red lipstick freshly applied, and a pen and paper in her hand, she was ready to attack my case. Literally attack it.
"Ally, Ally. You'll never learn will you."
"Thats not true!" I said.
She was probably right though. Making eye contact was hard, exspecially with her giving you her signature deathly stare. It seemed as if she never blinked! By looking, I would automatically loose being forced to reveal everything. I was not about to let that happen though! It was time for me to show Mrs.Glousom that I was not about to give in like everyone else. Instead, I choose to look at her shoes. They were black, six inch heels that she thought would make her hot and younger. Boy was she wrong!
"Ally are you going to answer me? I just asked you why your grades have been slipping in science."
I had no clue how to answer this. Obviously I was not the greatest in science. I had been trying my hardest though. Doesn't that matter?
"I don't know." I said. "I've been trying my hardest and"
"It's because your too busy planning your next attack on Mrs.Broyston aren't you! This is causing you not to be able to focus on study, isn't it Ally!"
" You can't acuse me of that! You have no proof!" I said.
"Then explain what you put in the test tube that caused it to explode while Mrs.Broyston was talking to you?" Mrs.Glouson exclaimed.
"I didn't put anything in it! For crying out loud I never even touched it! When it exploded, it had to be just a coincidence."
"Your lying, I can see it in your eyes! Bring em' in!" she screamed!
My parents walked through the door giving me that "what have you done and the I'm so disappointed in you" look. I knew I was in trouble now!
