Things were going well for me now. Chris for the last three months had been helping me train and I had made major improvements from where I started. I can now levetate the soda can and move it around the room. The same gies for other objects as well. One day I brought Chris over to me like that because I thought he was moving too slow. I have also uncovered other skills too. Super speed, decoding, track spotting, super smell, sight, and hearing, and other things like that. Chris says it's all in my eyes. All I'm doing is uncovering the patterns most humans can't see. This is what's helping me discover who I really am.
"Great job Ally." Chris said.
I had just completed a back flip off the wall. It was more parquore than anything, but Chris said it will help me later.
"I think it's time we tell you why the two of us have to train." Chris said.
"We?" I said. "Your the only one in here."
"Mom. Dad. Come in now." Chris said.
"Take a seat dear." his mom said.
I sat down in the chair afraid what would happen other wise. What were they talking about?
"Now Ally." Chris's dad said. "There are reasons we make the two of you train. The government is trying to get ahold of kids like you and Adam for your powers."
"They want to take advantage of them." Chris's mom butted in.
"As I was saying." Chris's Dad continued. "They have agents placed at schools all over the country watching students. Once they discover that you hold that kind of power, they capture you."
"In otherwords." Chris said. "They blame you for things you didn't do or get you into trouble with the police over something stupid. Sadly that happened to you Ally."
"Were so happy you escapped on your own and that Chris found you." his mother said. "People don't know this but two days after you escapped, they were suppose to bring you into custody of the government. That's why it was so urgent that they needed to find you."
"Wait." I said. "So your meaning to tell me that Chris and I are wanted by the FBI, I almost was put in custody of the government, and the government possibly has a bunch of kids locked up that they're using as experiments like lab rats?"
"Yes Ally." Chris's father said. "I don't know what else to tell you. Chris and you just need to hunker down and keep training. The main reason your doing all this is so that you can prepair for battle when the government attacks and save all of the other children like you."
Chris's parents got up out of their chairs. They looked scared and full of anger and regret.
"I think it would be best if we leave the two of you alone for now." they said as they walked over to the stairs to head up to the main part of the house.
"I can't believe people could be so inconsiderate and rude!" I screamed.
"Come here baby." Chris said motioning for me to sit down next to him.
I sat down next to him still flustered about what I had just heard.
"Why did you keep that from me for so long?" I said. "You should have just told me straight out from the begining."
"I wanted to protect you Ally. I wanted to keep you safe." Chris said.
"But..."
I didn't get to finish my sentence for Chris grabbed me and kissed me right on the lips. It was slow and gentle at first as if to gently lure me in, but then he did it more forcefully. My arms were wrapped around his neck and his hands creeped down twords my butt. When he released, we were both smiling.
"You will always be safe as long as you have me." he said.
