It leans against the wall
As if it reaches to help
The patterns on its shade
Are routed to the right place
They turn and swirl
Down the stem
To mend the broken piece
Which makes it bend
The spine stretches every time its turned on
Push the light on its right side
Before it timbers down to that sound
