A fresh start for many
The day where we say that things are going to go our way Maybe just this once.
But maybe they won't and maybe they will
The year is laid out entirely before us
A fresh start for many
Still unsoiled by broken promises and forgotten dreams
A fresh start
Goals set Promises made to be fulfilled
Maybe they will be and maybe they won't be
People wait a year for this day to come around again
For a fresh start
Will we succeed and excel or will we fall apart
like we have done so many times before.
