Waiting [Story]
Some of Chapter One
I lay in my bed; my room is dark and oh so cold. The only warmth comes from my blanket, but it just isn't enough to warm what feels like my stone cold-hearted body and soul. The only light comes from outside my window. I can hear the sounds of heavy rain, thunder, the cars, and a passing plane. The lightning, the car and streetlights create a little show for me on my white curtain. I can't sleep; I can't draw my dyes away from the show. I can't close my eyes. My thoughts are extra ordinary, but only questions occur, never any answers. There is a voice whispering to me "my sweet darling, close your eyes, shush, shhh, don't be frightened. Close your eyes, shush."
