Three local lads from Dublin south Were sailing through the creek One was white haired and his mouth Was closed for words to leak,
Another one was deaf as goat, He shouted all day long, And blind one was the third in boat, All three were brave and strong.
Their journey was so fun and nice, They sailed to sunny lake, And silent one had some advice That deaf one would not take
But blind one has missed the stone And deaf one missed the shout, And as for silent - he was thrown And flied some roundabout.
The boat was broken, three went wet And story close to end, If you pretend to learn from that Then that is life, my friend!
