My dad is a hero, a cop. Today, a car crashed right in front of my dad and I on our way home from my gymnastics class. He saw it and ran out imediently. A young kid and his girlfriend ran a stop sign and crashed into a young boy and his father. Luckily they were both ok, but the girlfriend was very shaken up, her boyfriend wanted her to run away from the accident with him, but she refused. Now the boyfriend gas to pay a crap load of $ to to fix the other guys car. Anyway, my dad was there the whole time, checking on everybody and preventing the boyfriend from running. I wanted to go out there so bad and help him, but I didnt. He sees these things every day and worse, things I'm sure he wishes he never saw. I guess what I'm trying to say is doing things like this off duty just for the sake of making sure every day strangers are ok, is being a true hero.
