:D gonna continue! Wish me luck with 3 stories lol, but I think I may switch off. Like post 5 stories of Hopeless one week the next week Just Another Love Story and then Lost in Nowhere. Or whatever is easiest... :)

I swim as far as I can until I have to get up for breath. Behind me I see Toby dragging out of the water shirtless and tired.
When they dissapear I slowly swim over to where my dress is and slip it off. I sip down and ring out my long brown hair. Quickly I tie it in a tight braid going down my back and rush downtown to the ceramony. Where the rest of my life will be determined.
First goes Benjamen. I've seen him before during a storm when all of the Scavengers met at the storm hut. He goes to the stadium where the judge insults him and asks him questions. He listens with his head down not speaking once. Ashamed and blushing Benjamen steps away from the stand. The judge cuts a deep slice on his cheek to officially name him a Scavenger.
Next is Steven. I hate looking at him after what he had done to me, but all contestents are forced to watch. Steven doesn't take the insults lightly. He grabs the judge by the collar, pulls him close to his face and spits in his eye. Obviously going to result in Condor. The judge was disquisted. He quickly grabs his knife and cuts a deep red X on his arm. Steven is now a Condor leader, and officially my enemy.
"Rory Anconter you are next." spits out the judge as he fixes his collar. Slowly I step on the stage. This is the first step to the rest of my life.
