So Simple But So Hard To Say

There is something you don't know
Something very hard to show
It's a feeling a cannot express
Something very hard to press
It's three words
So simple
But so hard
Something I have to say
But it's hard to find a way
It's like the moon needing the stars
Like opossums avoiding passing cars
Like the grass for the cow
I can't say it
I don't know how
It's a strange feeling that I need you
It's a feeling to good to be true
But the only time I can truely satisfy
Is when you look me in the eye
And say "I love you."
And then I know how to say it
Although it makes my cheeks beyond red, but blue
I say
"I love you too."
