The Only One

I hope you are the perfect one
The sweet kind father to my son
The one that comforts me when I feel down
Will do anything to make sure I do not frown
The one the always asks how was your day?
Even though he didn't get his pay
Maybe those blue eyes, they always get me
As blue and deep as the sea
He will only look at me and no one else the same
He will be my lovely, and I will be his to tame
If I am cold he will give me his jacket
He will calm me down, not yell if I'm causing a racket
Together we watch the journey of the sun
Together we will have so much fun
He will take me somewhere special to watch the sun fall
He will hold my hand, stronger then them all
He will no who I am and everything about me
He will watch me fall asleep, just to watch me dream
I just want someone who is right for me
Somebody who knows who I am and who I want to be
