Roses are thrown Violets are slashed They held a throne And brutally crashed
He was a king She was a queen They each had a ring They ruled together indefinitely
King loved violets Queen loved roses They got each other presents That were bigger than their closets
Roses are thrown Violets are slashed They held a throne And brutally crashed
Servants went home The King and Queen went upstairs Giving presents soon to come As they brushed their hair
King gave the Queen a dozen roses Queen gave the King a dozen violets Each held a poem exactly the same That read just like this:
Roses are thrown Violets are slashed We held a throne And brutally crashed
They each pulled a sword They each looked with anger Each had been lying Been sleeping with a stranger
Tonight was the night Tomorrow would be new As they held swords to each other The fight would be heard by more than a few
They held such a hatred They started to tops and turn The roses were thrown over the balcony The violets were slashed as Kings arm was cut
They held a decent fight They had a fair chance Fought through the night And ended with them both lying dead
The poem paper Was filled with poison The other would definitely die soon No matter what
Roses are thrown Violets are slashed They held a throne And brutally crashed
