"A soul for a soul, If you want to save him You must sell me your soul And be my servant,"
Death speaks to me. "I'll do it." As my lovers head shakes with ferocity Death holds out a hand, revealing his devilish grin
My hand reaches out As a tear decends off my cheek "I love you, forever and always." "Please. Don't." He croaks
Another tear falls "I'm sorry," I touch Death's hand And vanish into thin air.
In the shadows Of my old home Where we stand, cloaked Hidden away from society
I look in my window My husband thought it a dream He goes to our bed To see a silent, lifeless, me.
He wails to have me back I long to be with him, but know I can't I've made a Deal with Death To keep him intact
I touch my hand to the window But a scythe blocks my passage "Ah ah. None of that my sweet. Can't reveal yourself at all."
I let out a cry As we go into the depths of the night I truly wish I didn't have to have My Deal with Death
