I want to be on top For just one day See how it feels To be looked upon in every way
The top is so social So much like family I just wish that one day They would accept me
I think I've got the talent But is it enough? Or is this idea Like a diamond in the rough?
We're all unique That I'm sure of We all have our wants Mine is just to be above
But can I be accepted By those with gracious words? Or is it just too much For me to fly with those birds?
I wonder if they notice Or much rather give a care To this little one Hiding in the crosshairs.
Some may Some may not But I think that one day We all want to be on top.
But Opuss isn't about Who's first or second Not about Who's worst at it
Opuss is about writing And letting it flow Allowing the world To acknowledge all you know
But no matter what I like to think That the "Top Dogs" Were once this meek
But I may never know So I'll just move on But I'll keep writing And dreaming for fun
