In the distance A faded memory My long gone lover Sitting under our tree
Moonlight enhancing His perfect face Looking up the sky Wanting one more embrace
Let a tear fall We both softly cry I step across the field towards him Dare I try?
Approach him sweetly As more tears escape "Hello?" I ask He looks up, lost in space
"Can you hear me?" He looks straight ahead I weep and scream I'm too long dead
