Now why don't you see This pain Writhing inside me
Isn't it obvious As I twist and turn That happiness is oblivious
Don't I deserve To be noticed by you The one without nerve
Or do you not care at all Just standing by, waiting For my big fall
I must not matter To not only you But old "friends" who chatter
We must be forbidden Because your love for me Is bedridden
If it was actually shone I'd be surprised All you have is back bone
Although I wish you cared And that you once Were there
I'm happy you ignored It's taught me some lessons That leave others floored
If it werent for going unnoticed Where would I be A brat in bodice?
So in a twisted light It's truly pleasant That you never helped me through the nights
So I thank you For your ignorance Because it's given me no limit, to what I can do.
