Ok, so I have actually submitted my first story to a publication area in hopes it gets published. It's an edited version of one of the stories I posted on here. It's quite scary, actually, for me, and I know the odds are that I'll probably be outright rejected I think... But, this entry serves to tell you that even if you do get rejected, try again. It's not the end, and maybe the editor reading at that time didn't like it or something. My teacher submitted a piece of work for months to this one publication for five years before they finally published one of her stories. That's dedication. Plenty of times she got rejected, but in the end, it got published. So, don't give up! Keep trying, even if you do get rejected. The anticipation right now that I need to wait is kind of painful, but... I don't think I will give up on this story. I'll try again if needed.
