Thankfully it was.....Alicia. Alice opened the door and I flushed the chain and pretended to wash my hands so it would be like i had been to the toilet. Alice was still stood at the door and Alicia was still stood outside when I came out of the loo. "What are you doing back here?" I asked her, sitting down on a wet patch of tears, I had cleaned my face up now from: puffy pink eyes, tear streaks and a 'too hot face' that was bright red! "I just came for another 20, I'm going shopping where you can only use cash. Fun times! It's a chance for dodgy people to realise how rich we are, and then nick our purse!" she chuckled a little, then strides into the apartment, head held high, and went into her room. She hadn't come out yet and Alice had closed the door, sat down with me,chosen another film to watch and made popcorn! "Alicia, are you okay?" We shouted simultaneously, turning our heads to her bedroom door, no one would have guessed we were sisters if we didn't have 'telepathical thinking!' "I'll go see if she's ok," I said rising to my feet,"actually, yeah- can you come too? Just to make sure she's ok." She nodded at got to her feet and paused the tv. We crept towards her room, as quiet as mice, then; underneath me was a creaky floor board. Alice's finger dived onto her lip as she gently made a 'shush' noise, I nodded in agreement and carried on walking towards her room. One step at a time. One small step from revealing what had happened to Alicia, hopefully it was nothing bad. Alice rested her head on the door to see if she could here anything, she shook her head, as if to say,' nah, nouts in there!' a worried look sprung out on Alice's face, she reached to her back pocket to retrieve her phone and typed in 999. Then she rammed the door open, and saw quite not what she expected.
She hit the call button and pressed the phone to her ear, "Police services and Ambulance. right away, yes, 24B Soringfield rd. Ok." She shut the lid to her call and ran out of the room, tears streaming down her face. The window was smashed and Alicia was dead.
