Why is my bed do lumpy?

Have you ever had that feeling when you go to sleep after a long day of tidying your bedroom that when you go to bed its all lumpy? It's almost impossible to sleep, so you look under your bed and find all your dirty washing and books that you got from a boot fair and all the things you tidied your room from?!
