Part 11
He understood it and called an ambulance out - even though I knew it was just too late - to come and help my mum. I just left the PCSO to his job and took a seat on the couch in the front room. Memories flooded back to me; mum chose the wall paper and I chose the furniture. The time when she took me to the park and pushed me on the rusty old swing, I love my mum. Every daughter is there mums best friend - even if they don't want to be. Just then, the ambulance pulled up and more tears leapt out my eyes and began to dance down my cheeks, my mum, will never be, back, again.
"Alonzo?!" a frantic voice echoed around the house, my ears sprung to attention. I would recognise that voice anywhere, it's my Bobby.
"In here," I managed to croak back and the door flew open to reveal Bobby, I could feel a smile creep on my face, "My mum. She's gone." I whispered while he sat next to me and put his arm around me. I have never felt so safe in my life. "I know hun, I know. Don't worry. Have you got any other relatives you can stay with?" he comforted me, I hadn't though and even if I did they wouldn't know me, so what's the use?! I shook my head glumly while sinking my head into his shoulder. A perfect fit. "You can stay with me for a while - forever if you like. Don't worry about Harry, he'll be on tour and he's also moving out to America. Come on Alonzo,'' he said gently, while softly stroking my hair. I nodded, curled up in his lap and fell asleep - despite everything that was going on.
