I'm a little tree angel
Sitting by myself,
That shouldn't be unusual but I'm sitting on a shelf.
On a shelf in a Christmas shop,
All the others have been sold,
Apparently I have design features worth my weight in gold.
Beautiful brown ringletted hair,
A pink sequin dress,
I did have a china face but now mines in a mess.
You see I was sitting on the shelf one day freshly out my box,
Watching all the shoppers getting on with the festive shop.
When a horrid little girl in her spoilt little world came over to me away from her mummy,
Threw me on the floor and trod on my head thinking that it would be funny.
Nobody saw her commit this awful crime
And now it seems I'm the one doing the time.
What she didn't think about when from her mum she did stray,
Was Santa was actually watching her so she'll now get coal on Christmas Day.
