Being Monday isn't an easy task,
No one likes me
Everyone says that I'm the longest day of the week,
I can't help it if I follow Sunday the day of over eating socialising with family and reminiscing the Saturday night fun.
I'm generally the day we all have to get up the earliest on as this is the traveling day.
I'm the day that brings home the over indulgence of the weekend trio I really do apologise.
Why Monday's could be good,
It's the first day you earn money post the weekend spend up,
It's a fresh start a new beginning for all sorts of things.
Its generally the day that most of us eat the healthiest.
So please don't be too hard on me im just another day
And i really don't want to give you the Monday morning
blues
