Some people wear it to show their wealth the more rings on there fingers or the bigger the hoops the wealthier they apparently look. Although when you actually meet a proper wealthy person it is more about the diamond and the cut.
For some its about the fashion statement plastic feathered beaded as cheap as possible as it will be so last week in a couple of days.
For the practical person we have a watch a piece of jewellery that is dieing out due to mobile phones doing it for us, but for some its still important.
Then there are air looms an ugly tarnished old engagement ring that was great aunt Edna's second cousins mother in law's, that you can't let go because you may break some kinda of curse and zombies will wipe you out, so you keep it in a jewellery box gathering dust and getting even more tarnished.
Now if your really clever you would make your own one off pieces that everyone likes but wouldn't wear themselves as it just simply wouldn't suit them! But looks lovely on the maker.
Jewellery will never disappear all the time it's making us feel nice and expressing us as individuals so go on tomorrow go treat yourself to a new pair of studs or new watch? you deserve it.
