I saw my lad in his first nativity play,
20 three year olds what more can I say.
Twas dead cute watching them sing
Busting their moves,
Shaking bells jingling.
Charlie was dressed up as a Christmas pudding and a sheep,
Filmed the lot a memory I want to keep.
Pass it around when he turns eighteen,
He'll be embarrassed and my face will beam.
When jingle bells started to be sung he ran to the front like he was the only one,
yelled to me "mum this is my song"
Who am I to argue and began to sing along.
The whole performance like a perfect pantomime,
Has totally psyched me up for Christmas time.
