I had a great day with my parents yesterday. Nearly had to replace their lighting though ;-)

We went shopping for a bit, but varied it up to go random places that we would all find interesting - both individually and collectively. While we were out, I ended up buying a new bow-staff for my training - it is beautiful, both the craftsmanship and the weight distribution. Best of all, it was 80% off!

Next we went for a meal - a carvery - always nice, and finished the day off by going to the theatre. Was a lovely day, and makes me wish I could visit more, but they know I'm around as much as I can be.

Today I had to begin packing back up to get back to Leeds for this evening, but in the meantime, I decided to try out my new bow properly.

Upon spinning it, I realised how much longer it is compared to my old one, and my parent's house has low ceilings and hanging lights - if I hadn't have been concentrating on the room as well as the bow, I would have took the lights clean off!

Ah well, we all like a little drama ;-)
