#household @sjw This is my first household poem, behold! Sorry its not the best.
Curtain-
It was the fifth of November,
Excitement hung in the air,
A day (Night?) to remember,
A pet hid in a bed, like a cuddly bear.
A little girl stood by window, peeking out of the curtain,
She watched the glittering sparkles of light,
It was very pretty, for certain,
And stared as the starry shapes flew out of sight.
She gasped in delight,
Then stirred her steaming mug of tea,
And observed by the curtain, as the fireworks got ready for flight,
She ate marshmallows, and watched again, as they flew up into the sky, How fun would that be?
