As I step about my
Own little world,
I carefully watch
As my dreams unfurl,
Until it is time
To snap back to reality,
To a place full of rules
And made up legality,
I stand and take in
All that's in sight,
This world of ours
That's so black and white,
I wonder if colour
Would brighten this place,
Bring smiles to the people
Who inhabit this space,
Saturated by all different
Shades and hues,
I think that would be better,
Don't you?
