How come we walk when our spirits fly?
How come our minds are loose in the dark
While in sunlight they are trapped shut tight
Are we worshipers to knowledge
Or are we tricked fools that take acceptance
In life humans gain freedom
That they often realize has slipped
Time is a carnal concept created by humans
Yet we tend to waste fine grains
Of the ever diminishing eternal hourglass
Mechanical creatures that need maintenance
But do not run on oil
The complexity and vast diversity
Of the perfectly intertwined parts
That form a troubled roller-coaster
Why grant us a mouth without instructions
Why have we got legs but no path
Why limit ourselves to 10% of wisdom
We ignore our eyes which are the windows to the soul
And ignorance is a gift
And it is rude to return a gift
