Up there the Sun is a big yellow duster Polishing the blue, blue sky With white fluffy clouds in a cluster Hanging on a breeze to dry Trees everywhere With blossoms in their hair And Mother Nature wears her newest gown What I'd give Once more to live Right out of town.
The lyrics of this delightful little song (written by Leslie Bricusse / Robin Beaumont and used as the title song in the early episodes of Jack Hargreaves' "Out of Town" country life program in the sixties and seventies) came flooding back to me as I, in an effort to rid myself of the stress of a heavy workload over the last few months, decided on a long drive in the countryside. I'm fortunate in as much that living on the outskirts of Southampton I'm only 10 minutes from the countryside, so jumping in the car with a very vague route in mind, off I set. I'd decided to take the Stockbridge road - lots of turns and hardly any traffic - and within minutes I could feel the tension just falling away from my neck and shoulders. I wore a huge smile as I wound down the window to take in the beauty of the Hampshire countryside. Suddenly something caught my eye and I looked up to see a majestic kestrel hovering high in the sky with wings wide and eyes down whilst some 50 ft. below a field mouse or alike scurried away, unaware that it was being viewed as a possible meal. Eyes back on the road now and a flash of red as Mr. Fox gives me a contemptuous glance as he skulks away through the hedgerow and into a field. Look out kessie he's after your lunch! Over the brow of the next hill and I was rewarded with an incredible panoramic landscape of rolling hills and different coloured farmer's fields all neatly compartmented. In one, far away to the right, was a little red tractor chugging away, earning its' owner his crust of bread, whilst on the opposite side I could just make out a distant village church proudly thrusting it's spire toward the heavens. My nostrils breathed in the gentle smells of lavender and honeysuckle and I glanced up to see the white fluffy clouds, indeed in a cluster, soaking up the warmth of the early evening sun.
Then I turned yet another corner and saw the most wondrous sight yet - it simply took my breath away...
Blonde Twenty-something Tits like coconuts And legs that went all the way up to her arse...
