Vivid orange autumnal leaves, Breaking free from their parental branch, Catching the fragmented crystalline sunlight, Tumbling down-a leafy avalanche.

Floating side to side in the whistling wind, Encrusted with dancing, sparkling jewels, Struck by beams of dazzling daylight, Piling up in an amber foliage pool.

Glued together in a deep bundle of warmth, Colour slowing fading to a dark mahogany, Rustling softy in the serene cool breeze, The ground buried beneath a leafy sea.
