Children up before the sun, Happiness spilling amongst everyone, Ripping open christmas gifts, Icicles hang outside in a snowy mist, Santa was extra generous this year, Tells the mother, for the kids to hear, More and more parcels under the tree, And another one just from you to me, Still unwrapping at ten o'clock,
Dreams and laughter continue to unlock, As the children play, we tidy up, Yes, even at christmas, we have no luck!
