Soaring capsules of luminous light, Flying high into the gloomy night, Bursting to release vibrance and fun, And beautiful colours as bright as the sun.

Flickering fiery flecks of delight, Making the most of their time in the limelight, Fizzing and sparkling as children watch on, Staring in awe at this firework marathon.

Once they've had their moment of glory, They fall down to the ground-the end of their story, Their backs are broken and their arms are burning, It seems their state of death is returning.
