It's a Saturday morning,
Yet I'm up before 8.
Why, you might ask?
To go sing for goodness sake!
Most people don't understand,
For only the ones who've experienced it can
But no matter the time,
Nor the day nor the week
When I'm sing on stage
is when I feel most awake.
