I saw a star a single star shining in the sky,
I saw a star a lonely star so bright and oh so high.
I wondered what it thought as it looked down on me,
Did it see my loneliness does it see what I see.
Oh lonely star to me you are a reflection of my soul,
To shine like you through all my days will always be my goal.
