Just finished my shift at 1400 today, went down the cellar to get changed, came back up and was told the we have a visit from Environmental Health.
To cut a long story short an ex employee had got in touch with EH and tried to stitch us up.
The young lady from EH was in the pub for a few hours, going through the list of complaints. Yes our paperwork is out of date (head chef job) but all in all we passed muster, there are a few wee things wrong, that we can sort ourselves.
The ex employee left of her own accord, she didn't get on with the new owners, but it was a scary afternoon ?? We could have all lost our jobs, the pub could have been closed down, cos of one silly little girl
