reality is a funny thing, honestly.
you’re living in this made up world,
living in this mystical fantasy
that your mind conjured.
and in that fantasy, everything is perfect,
how you want it to be.
you control everything,
and that’s the way you like it.
but then,
all of a sudden,
reality slaps you in the face.
and it’s not some foolishly friendly slap.
it’s a hard, painful, shocking slap.
your fantasy evaporates in a second,
and you’re thrown back into
the real world.
