Gnarled, knotted bent and misshapen tools of pain. Twisted wooden dowels .
Cold, hard , dull heavy and leaden weak, no strength. Metal rods.
Inflammation joints ceasing digits useless like shards of splintered glass .
Stiff, inflexible inability to grasp feel, touch, stroke sense -senseless.
Body supple spirit free mind young. Fingers old, before their time .
