Erin clutched the cross on her neck, then forced her eyes shut.

She wished.

For hope.

Something that would save her from this wreck she had got herself into.

She should have just walked instead of being lazy. She should have never been born. She shouldn't have to die this way.

Erin remembers her little brother splashing in the bath playing with his miniature train figures, dunking them into the water. How she just laughed and giggled at his stupidity, she doesn't know. But you cannot change the Past, only the Present.

Erin braced herself and gripped the train handle and shoved open the door, cracking the hinges, it swung back and forth.

She took her chance,

And

Jumped...
