So. Me and my uncle's fiancée were clipping Millie's claws (Millie is my usually docile, big black and white cat). She didn't like it...

But then came the turn for little Tizzy (The cat on my profile picture; the cat this account is named after), to have HER claws clipped... ... Tizzy isn't a cuddly cat... She doesn't like being picked up... But we had to man-handle her to clip them...

We were in the kitchen, all doors closed so she couldn't escape.

So, 1st attempt: I grabbed her while my Grandad wrapped her up in a towel... But she managed to wriggle free.

Attempt #2: in a panic, I grabbed her by the scruff of her neck. She didn't like it much, but it was a good plan... Until her again, managed to get away.

Today a lesson was learnt: •Tizzy doesn't like being man-handled. •Tizzy-Wizzy does NOT want her clawzys to be clipped. •Tizzy is smarter than we think and maybe she really WILL take over the world (like she always likes to think).

Tizzy left with all claws firmly attached and intact and strutted off into the living room when we gave up. Next time we will just take her to the ver and get the to do it...
