~This is the beginning of my story; it's a really strange dream that I had last September~ ~I have no idea where this place was; it was somewhere I had never been or seen; my subconscious mind must have made it up~ ~It's a ver random and strange dream, but it was quite good~ ~We don't have an El Camino, but in this dream, we did - it was mine~ ***
Me, two friends (Khloe and Meg), my Mum and my Grandad had gone to a car show. It was showing off new cars; production cars; concept cars and cars that were just coming into sale. There was even a small group of classic cars. The cars were laid out in their categories; there were these dividers (like rooms almost) that separated the cars (into their categories; current cars; production; new; and concept). Then within these categories, there were the groups - what type of car they were - MPV, SUV, Family, Super Minis, City cars, etc. Some of the cars were for sale; others just for show; and some that weren't for sale, you could have a sort of "Test Drive" in them - although the cars were inside at this venue, there was a large strip of track (sort of like the Top Gear driving track, but different) outside. My Mum and Grandad had wondered off to look at the Classic cars section - and my 1973 El Camino was on show - that's mainly why we were there; but also partly to see the other cars as my Grandad wanted a new car. Me, Meg and Khloe were just looking at the current/production cars and the new cars... We had just got to the Small Cars section, within the "Production/New" cars - They were current cars that had been given a facelift - basically they were updates/next generation cars. That's when we came across the white Skoda Fabia... It must have been polished as it glistened as the stadium-style lighting hit its many contores. We noticed something strange... We had come to a desolate, almost disused, warehouse-type building that was adjacent to the main building (it was still connected to the main building, however)... The salesman was warning us, saying that these cars were evil - they had been rejected from the show, they were like "discards" - cars that had gone wrong when they were being built. It was then that we looked around and saw that these cars weren't in the same categories - they were mixed, small, big, 4WD (four wheel drive), 2WD, SUV... All different, no two cars were the same all different makes/models, but some belonged to the same manufacturer... The salesman explained how the cars were fine when the companies delivered them earlier that morning, but something must have gone wrong when everything was being set up... *** Next chapter :3
