"They say that it comes back every year to try and ruin the car show", Julia finished "Now, I better get back to work, we have work to do, the show is beginning to start", then Julia disappeared.
"I better go too, I gotta try and unwire these cars, they may even need to be destroyed", and with that, Derek had also gone back to work.
Me and Khloe decided to go look at the Classic Cars and see how my Mum and Grandad were getting on at the event. To get to the Classic Cars, you had to walk through the "Cars 4 Sale" exhibition, and then it was the car park, (The new Multi-Story car park had been built closer to the venue than the old one, they hadn't knocked the old one down yet).
We had gone the long way, and ended up at the Tesco Cafe, that was, well, it seemed to be built in the lobby of the disused car park, we thought this was odd... Meg said that she was going to have a look around, and see if there were any other parts of the car show around here... Me and Khloe had bought two Cappuccinos, and had just sat down at a table to drink them...
Then an old crotchety hag of an old lady, who looked quite superstitious - almost like a witch/gypsy or psychic - came over to us. She spotted my car keys that I put on the table (to find my change, and I always had a set of the keys in case I'd need them), then she saw the little keyring that everyone entering a car into the show receives (I put it on the same ring as the keys)... She asked us "Are you here for that car show?"
"Yes", I replied, taking a sip of the hot Cappuccino "Why'd you ask?"
"Get yer car and get outta here" she retorted, with a slightly 'screechy' sounding voice, "Ther be a bad thing lurkin' 'round here."
She must have been referring to the Skoda. I looked down to put my keys back in my pocket, looked up again, and the lady had vanished. Khloe sat there looking amazed "That old lady just seemed to evaporate into thin air! I looked down for a split second to count the money I had left, then she had gone!" she stated.
