~Another poem I wrote for school; December 2011~ ~This one is about a crappy car~
Although you have given me endless mechanic bills, Never-ending charges for car hire, Mighty migraines that make me feel like I may explode, Infinite car troubles that I don't require, Insomnia and many sleepless nights, Head, neck and back aches, Paranoia about your many problems, What is with this trouble you're adamant to make? You break down at the worst of times - Yet life is still better than it was before.
Although you have given me grief, I still miss all the times we shared, I feel I have reached the end of my teather, The bills from Kwik-Fit you give me make me scared, I'm constantly renting cars, You give me a weak feeling; I die inside; a permanent burden and sharp pains, The road noise you have gives me ringing ears and pounding migraines, Raging about how often you fail your M.O.T's - Yet life is still better than it was before.
Although you have given me a nasty feeling, Left me reeling; a stomach ache; an empty pocket, Fears, tears; yet many aims, You leave me feeling like in my head there's a tiny rocket, Fun and games; thrills and spills, (many oil spills), Your many high fuel costs and road tax, Having many back pains from pushing you out from the middle of the road, It's as if in my brain an ICT technician hacks- Why didn't I just trade you in for a better model? Yet life is still better than it was before. ~ Again, my teacher must have also liked this one; it also received a B.
