Chapter 32: The Devastating Battle
Sid opened the door and they all stepped outside. They could hear screeching and flapping wings above them. They all looked up to find lots of bats swooping down from the rooftop. Jasmine stood in front of Sid, "I'll be fine." Sid and the others gave Jasmine some room. Jasmine pointed the wand at the hairy bats. A hot flame came spiralled out trapping the bats in a vortex. Jasmine flicked the wand, a sparkle of dust travelled up the vortex turning it into an icicle that was attached to the window ledge. "Wow! I never seen a summoner do magic before. I had to protect your father when he was in battle, all he trusted was the creatures to save his life or his team members," Sid explained with a shocked face. "It's because I was trained by Slither at Pandora. She was very helpful," Jasmine said strongly. They stepped out of the patio and made a protective circle around Jasmine keeping her safe from the enemy that was approaching from the north. Goblins charged up the path that was made out of pebbles with their daggers drawn out tightly fitted inside their hand. Ragz, Bogz and Rupert drew out their weapons and rushed into battle clashing their daggers against the evil goblin's daggers that chimed within the breeze. "Looks like your with these twerps," one of the evil goblins chuckled. "Because I have come to my senses, he's just using you all just to become stronger," Bogz answered back. "No! You're a traitor, you should be punished!" The evil goblins forced their daggers to one side making an entry to strike. The goblins went for the kill but Braxton and Sparrow flew in and saved Ragz and Bogz's life. Rupert focused his energy through the Jambiya, and then swiftly cut the goblins daggers in half. The goblins didn't notice and they started to approach the heroes. Sid whistled by placing two fingers in his mouth. The goblins' heard a galloping noise that was heading their way. They quickly turned to find a spotty horse galloping straight for them. Some goblins managed to dodge out of the way while the others were trampled over. Sid mounted on to Dash and then gripped his hand around a bright red lance with a sharp point on the end. Dash stamped his hooves into the damp soil to frighten the evil goblins. The goblins were terrified, they backed up allowing the Trolls to enter, they were six foot, have a masculine body with veins sticking out of their arms and a mace that's like a bat made out of wood in their right hand. The Trolls plodded towards the Pandora Team, while tapping the mace against their hand. Sid charged at the Trolls, while mounted on Dash. Dash galloped towards the Trolls. When Dash was by the Trolls, the Trolls swung their mace trying to knock Sid off the horse. Dash leaped over the first mace. Sid lunged his lance forward, forcing it into the second Troll's knee, which caused the Troll to collapse. Sid forgot about the third Troll that clobbered him, making Sid slide across the murky soil that plastered all over his shiny armour. The Trolls gave out a mighty roar, lots of syliver came gushing out, smothering their chins. Bruno, Arthur and Lola dashed forward at the Trolls hitting them with their fists knocking them over on to the evil goblins that got smothered by the Trolls' backside. An eagle bombed in gripping the magic book with its long claws. Jasmine held on tight with one hand, reaching out with the other into her pocket for her wand. She finally grasped the wand and went to do a lightning spell but some reason she couldn't cast it. Arthur and the others watched Jasmine be taken by the eagle. Jasmine tried her best forcing the book from the eagles grip, but it didn't budge. The eagle flew higher and higher then released its grip. Jasmine dropped from a great height, looking shocked of what to do. All she could think of is about Slither, how she felt falling into the pitch black pit. "If only Falcon could have saved her, she would of still be by my side learning me some new things," Jasmine thought. As Jasmine was dropping out of the sky, the crystal began to glow bright. Jasmine came too and stared at the crystal in the middle of the book. Then something wrapped around her waist, not too tight so that she couldn't breathe just so that she was secured. Jasmine looked down to find a snake with lots of heads, it had more than fifty. Jasmine felt a connection to this creature because somehow the snakes were pleased to see her. "I summon you Falcon," but Falcon didn't come. The crystal began to shine, "You can't use magic against that eagle, so the only creature who can help is Six-One-Nine," Falcon commanded. Jasmine pointed her wand towards the gloomy sky, while calling Six-One-Nine to the rescue. Six-One-Nine boosted out of the magic book taking flight. "Takeout that eagle with everything you've got!" shouted Jasmine. "Rodger."
Who is this snake with lots of heads and why is it helping Jasmine? The Pandora Team are trying their best, forcing the enemy back.
