Chapter 19: The Power of Braxton and Sparrow
Sparrow disconnected to join himself to Braxton. First Braxton's head shot down into his stomach, so that Sparrow's head can attach on to Braxton's shoulders. Then Sparrow's legs clicked into Braxton's body acting like another pair of hands and lastly, Sparrow's wings connected to Braxton's back that would give him the advantage in battle. The Pandora Team were shocked by what Rose could do with the puppets. They need a good strategy to show how worthy they are. Rose began to laugh, "This is my ultimate weapon. You will never survive the mighty Spraxton." Braxton was being impatient. He just wanted to show that Pandora Team what team work is all about. "Come on Rose let us attack, I want to smash them," Braxton said in a grumpy attitude. Rose smiled, "Alright Spraxton show what you've got."
Rose gave the orders and Spraxton flew high above the clouds looking down onto the Pandora Team. Jasmine watched the puppet circle around, while thinking what to do. Then Spraxton stopped and just hovered above the clear blue sky. "Alright Spraxton do your worst!" Rose shouted.
Braxton opened his mouth. A metal cannon poked out. Braxton used his eyes to place a target onto Jasmine, then shot a laser beam out from the cannon. The beam bombed down, so Jasmine shouted over to Sandy giving sharp orders, "Sandy, bow and arrow ready!" Sandy didn't hesitate. She followed the orders that had been given. Jasmine casted a water spell on the arrow. The water twisted around the arrow, Jasmine told Sandy to aim for the beam that was falling down. Sandy aimed at the laser beam then launched the arrow up towards it, when the arrow touched the laser beam it exploded into smithereens, letting out pitch black smoke covering the whole sky. Spraxton charged through the black smoke making his way towards the Pandora Team. Grizzly stepped in front getting ready to defeat Braxton and Sparrow's powerful form. Spraxton gripped onto Grizzly's battle axes once again with Braxton's arms. Grizzly tried to push the puppet over but the puppet was even stronger for Grizzly. Sparrow's feet that acted as arms began to spin like a drill getting faster and faster every minute, the drill got closer towards Grizzly's face. Grizzly stared into the drill thinking that the journey is over. As the drill got nearer more sweat dripped off the poor bears face, his arms began to get weak trying to keep the drill away. Ragz knew he had to do something but when he went to help Grizzly the first time, the puppet just knocked him back flinging him through the air. Then Ragz came up with an idea that he saw his parents do back when they were fighting the Dark Demon. Ragz sprinted towards Spraxton watching every move it made. Then the puppet swung its leg around at Ragz, while balancing on the other foot. Ragz then did a back flip and threw his dagger at the puppets strings knowing that the puppet would have to block it or watch out for it but instead it chucked Grizzly into the flying dagger. The dagger pierced through Grizzly's skin. The bear tried to move but the dagger was trapped in between his heart and stomach, so if he moved his legs it could make the dagger slip, slicing the heart making the blood ooze out. Rose still didn't give up, she still carried on fighting until they were all weak or injured. Team Pandora soon figured out who to aim for, Jasmine whispered to her Team telling them her idea. Soon the puppet master had enough of waiting and shot out a poison bomb that gave out deadly purple smoke. Jasmine waved her wand really quickly putting the smoke around Sandy's arrow. Sandy aims for the puppet and let's the deadly arrow hover through the air. Rose saw Sandy let the bow go and moved Spraxton out of the way. Rose looked back to find the arrow was spinning towards her, before she could move the arrow darted into the little girl's arm. The puppets collapsed to the ground because the little girl had let the strings go to grip on to her arm. Rose began to cry because her arm started to burn up. Jasmine hurried over to look at the wound, as she was curing the wound, Jasmine talked to her so that she was distracted by the stinging sensation. "You know Rose, you're an amazing puppeteer and you can control each limb of the puppet very well. Your puppets are really strong you should be proud of yourself." The little girl wiped her tears away." Thank you Jasmine I never knew you were so kind hearted, you're a lovely girl sorry for hurting you I thought you were going to attack me." Jasmine smiled at Rose. "That's alright. Why are you out in the forest all alone, do you live around here?" Rose's face dropped. "Well I'm looking for someone in black armour. He had a wand just like yours. When I was a baby my parents were killed by this person and I'm looking for him to get my revenge." Jasmine's face lightened up because she knew who this person was. "That person is the Dark Demon and its kidnapped my mother and this wand I have in my hand, it used to be the Dark Demons but the wand was rescued by Princess Yuna but somehow it managed to get to my world because I'm not from Pandora, I live in a small village called Lamina. I was brought here by Slither, she also taught me some spells that she knew and I also mastered by myself how to become a summoner." Rose looked at the others who were with Jasmine, "Why do you have so many people with you Jasmine?" Ragz stepped in, "Well when the first war started in Pandora, my parents were fighting for their lives. They came face to face against the Dark Demon and were killed by the Dark Demon's pet dragon." Rose rushed over towards Ragz and gave him a big hug, "I'm ever so sorry that your parents passed away, are you getting revenge as well." "No...I am trying to free my brother because he had joined forces with the Dark Demon. He's the one that had coursed all this mess by making the Demon even stronger." Rose looked at Jasmine. "Is it alright if I join the Pandora Team? Please!" "Well your puppets could come in handy when in battle against the Dark Demon. If you want to get revenge then come with us to get stronger, maybe you will learn something different, while traveling with us." Rose invited herself into the Pandora Team. "Hi everyone my name's Rose the amazing puppeteer." "Hi I'm Ragz." "My name's Sandy please to meet you." "I'm Grizzly," he said while gripping his teeth together, "have you forgotten me or something. I'm in a lot of pain here and this knife is right by my heart, I can feel it."
Jasmine hurried over towards the bear, while gripping very tight on her wand. Jasmine knelt down by Grizzly. She held out her hand and gripped the dagger before she removed it Rose took out a syringe that had some liquid inside. She injected the liquid into the bear's side, "You will start to feel your body going numb tell Jasmine when it does, so that she can remove the dagger. I'm ever so sorry I thought you were with the Dark Demon, So I thought you wanted to thieve from Trolls Bridge because I heard that he's got lots of useful weapons." Grizzly could feel his body tensing up so he called out to Jasmine. Jasmine removed the dagger slowly making sure that the injection had worked. When the dagger was fully out Rose wrapped the bear's wound in some bandages, "That would do for now just take it easy." "Take it easy!" Grizzly roared, "You're the one who coursed all this mess, I'll keep my eye on you young lady." Rose stepped in front of Jasmine to tell the gang her promise. "I'll show you the way to Trolls Bridge like I promised you, come along gang!"
The Pandora Team had gained another member and they set off through the demolished forest to find Trolls Bridge with Rose leading the way.
