Chapter 14: Jasmine's Training.
Let me tell you what happened to Jasmine when she arrived at Pandora Castle Well...Yuna and Jasmine arrived at Pandora Castle. A dwarf stood by a horn and blew the giant horn to tell the creatures that Yuna had come back. They entered the castle and made their way to Yuna's room. Yuna then called a special someone who could help Jasmine to become a Mage, that someone was Slither. Jasmine was shocked, so she told Yuna that Slither was going to kill her but then Slither explained everything and the snakes bowed their heads to apologise for their behaviour. Now Jasmine is down at the training arena following the orders that Slither gave her. Jasmine had mastered many spells over the three nights but Slither thought of a great idea that no one had ever mastered and it would come hand in the war.
"Jasmine I've got something here that will become handy that no one had ever mastered, do you want to try it out." Slither said in a soft voice. "Yes mam I will do anything to help." "Then you are on your own because no one had ever mastered this, so we can not help you." "What is it?" "You will find out when you've read it." Jasmine read the note that Slither gave her it read.
Dear Jasmine, If you have accepted this note then it looks like you want to go further. You're already a Mage but if you pass this next mission, then you will become a summoner. Take your time, inside the book that you hold is the creatures you can call on. They will support you through you're journey. Good luck from Princess Yuna
Jasmine looked down at the book she was holding. "My diary it's changed," gasped Jasmine. Jasmine's diary had changed colour from pink to brown with gold sparkly jewels down the side of the margin and in the middle was a bright red ruby. Jasmine opened up the book to find all her drawings and everything about trips were gone. She flicked through the pages just to find four creatures, the rest were blank. "This book is magical, all my things are gone, I have to concentrate if I want to pass and when I do I can save mother and hopefully find Arthur." Jasmine flicked back to the start of the book and saw a beautiful feathery rainbow bird called Falcon. She gripped on to her wand tightly and pointed it up above her head. Jasmine took a deep breath. "I summon you Falcon!" The wand began to glow, sparks flew out and made a portal. The portal was like a rainbow but it was in a circle. Then suddenly a huge rainbow bird took flight doing a summersault and dived back down letting out a mighty cry that echoed through the castle.
Everyone heard the cry plus Slither who hurried to Yuna to tell the news. Slither burst through the doors to Yuna's room to find Yuna lying on her golden mat with a spiral pattern on the design. "Princess Yuna I..." "I know I heard its cry. Looks like Jasmine has passed the test bring her to me." "Yes mam."
Meanwhile Falcon was pleased to be free. "I see I have a new master, now someone who is trained well to call me." "Well actually Slither only helped me to become a Mage. I had to make my own way to become a summoner because no one in Pandora had the ability to summon you out." "It's because I felt your heart open up to me you didn't use a spell to control me." "A spell, did the Dark Demon use you in battle." "No! One of my friends, he's a dragon called Draco; he was forced to kill Ragz's family because the Demon used a dark spell called soul control. It controls a creature that will be forced to fight in battle, even if it doesn't want to. Draco's eyes turned an evil red his heart was shut away. Now that you have the book, I know you will protect us and I will tell the others about you."
Slither came down the staircase to find a beautiful rainbow bird. "Jasmine you've passed the test but I thought you wouldn't be able to. It was really hard to find someone who can summon them." "Well Falcon said that he could hear my heart opening up and he also said that the Dark Demon used Draco with a dark spell called soul control." "You can speak to this creature that's impossible, I couldn't hear it speak, you must have a gift given to you Jasmine or you are the chosen one. Oh before I forget, Yuna sent me done because she wanted to see you." Jasmine called Falcon back, the rainbow portal showed up, Falcon flew inside and then the portal disappeared. She hurried towards Yuna's room to find out what the matter was. Jasmine knocked on the wooden door by using a door knocker that was a golden unicorn. "Come in!" Yuna said per lightly. Jasmine slowly opened the door. "You called!" Jasmine nervously spoke. "It's alright. I heard that you have passed the test that was given to you. How was it?" "I found it really easy at first with Slither's help but when she said she could not help me with my final test I did panic. Then I managed to pull myself together to summon Falcon." "Yes I heard it. I think you're ready for a mission. I have rounded up some of my friends to go with you. The workshop is underneath a bridge within the dark forest. When you get there, you will meet a small troll. I need him to join us to make our weapons before the war starts up. When you meet up give him this note." Soon Yuna's friends barged through the door. Yuna walked over towards them. "Jasmine this is Grizzly."
Grizzly was a grizzly bear with brown fur, light brown eyes and clean pointy claws. He wore silver armour and on his back were two battle axes that were slotted inside the holes within his armour. He bowed his head to be polite. "I will guide you with my strength my lady." "Next is Sandy," Yuna pronounced.
Sandy was a beautiful Sagittarius. She wore a light blue sparkly dress that came to her waist, the rest of her body was a brown horse with a long black tail and over her shoulder was a brown leather bag that had a long bow and lots of arrows inside. "Please to meet you Jasmine. I will protect you from behind with my bow and arrows." "Lastly..." Before Yuna could say anything else Jasmine stepped in with a furious temper, "How dare you leave me behind like that! I was so scared when you left me alone inside that cave. You didn't even come back for me and I...had to fight the creatures all by myself." Ragz placed his head down in disgrace, "I'm sorry but I thought they would come after me because they always hunt me down when I go through the cave. Did you get hurt?" "No...before the spider was going to eat me alive. Yuna came to my rescue but she was badly injured while helping me escape." Yuna interrupted Jasmine and Ragz's conversation, "Jasmine I need you to concentrate. These three are going to support you along the way. Ragz is the only person that knows the way around and Ragz, if you ever let me down again you will be punished. I need all of you to stay by Jasmines's side because she will need your support."
Slither spoke up, "Is it alright if I go too. I need to tell Jasmine some things about these creatures that are scattered all over Pandora." "You may but you must bring Jasmine back safely when she's finished her quest." "Yes mam." Yuna trotted over towards a chest and nudged it with her head. Inside was a bright red coloured robe that was neatly folded inside the chest with glittery red shoes placed on top. "Here you go Jasmine this is for you." Jasmine wrapped the robe around her and then tied the golden strings around her neck to support it in place. Jasmine then slipped on the red shoes and span around several times. Yuna cantered them down towards the exit. Lots of hairy ox's were holding drums and short, stout, stocky and strong dwarves lined up by some giant horns. As the heroes walked down the middle of the lane, the ox's started to play the drums, while listening to the rhythm to keep in time and then the dwarves blew the horns that they were stood by. The sound from the horn pierced Jasmine's ears. She quickly brought her hands up over her ears to block the noise out.
When they came to the exit Jasmine turned around and shouted. "My name is Jasmine and I will protect Pandora and defeat the Dark Demon with my creatures!"
