Chapter 24: The Dark Demon's Arrival
The bright light was spotted in the distance by the Demon, as the dragon flew closer, the Demon spotted the Protection Forces within the beam of light. "Five Protection Forces ready to be captured. I never seen any power like this before," said the Demon, deeply breathing. Jasmine looked up at the sky to find gloomy thick clouds hovering over Trolls Bridge. In the distance, she spotted a dark ferocious dragon flying towards her. Falcon shouted down towards Jasmine, "That's Draco, he's being controlled again by the Dark Demon, who's riding on his back!" Jasmine squinted through her eyes, trying to focus on the Dark Demon. Her heart began to race making her body tremble in fear. "I never knew that the Demon looked like that, I can't feel my feet." Falcon yelled at Jasmine making her see sense, "Snap out of it we need to stick together to defeat this Demon!" "I know but he's very strong with that Excalibur." "We will protect you Jasmine," Falcon explained, "You need to trust yourself and then you can find your mother and the other Protection Forces." "Your right, if I fail then my mother and Pandora would be destroyed. I can't die leaving that in my mind. I have to defeat this Demon to bring peace to this world. Alright my lovely creatures it's time to battle." The bright light and the creatures go back inside the crystal but this time the crystal stayed bright, instead of fading. Jasmine hurried back to her team to give them the support.
"Just in time!" shouted Grizzly. "This is our time to shine, just remember to work in a team," Arthur answered trying to make out that he was brave. "Yes your right brother. I can support you all with my Protection Forces," explained Jasmine. The dragon landed on the ground then breathed thick smoke from the nostrils. The Dark Demon commanded, "Hand me over the magic book and wand!" Jasmine spoke up, "No not a chance, I'm going to stop you, so that you'll never gain the power of the Protection Forces." The Dark Demon gave a command to the dragon. The dragon lifted its head up and inside its mouth was a red hot flame. The dragon aimed for the Pandora Team and breathed out the blazing hot flame. Jasmine remembered what Slither taught her about the elements. "Draco is a fire element, so I summon you Crystal!" Crystal came out of the pure white crystal with a blue beam within the palm of her right hand. Crystal charged up the ice ball making the size bigger. When the flame was halfway, she blasted the ice from her hand. The bright blue beam started to freeze the hot flames turning it in to a sheet of ice. Draco tried its best to force more flames out but the ice was too powerful. The dragon and the Dark Demon were sealed inside a block of ice. Everyone started to cheer. "That wasn't so bad," said Jasmine. Falcon flew out of the crystal within a flash. Falcon cried out, "Don't be too hasty now, look Draco's heating up!" "Why, I thought fire is weak against ice," Jasmine said in confusion. "Well it is but fire can also turn the table by heating its self-up," replied Falcon, "so we need another plan." While the team thought about a plan, the block of ice was melting rapidly. Crystal explained, "You need to hurry because Draco is about to attack and I will never stand a chance on my own." Crystal stared at Falcon, "Falcon I need your help." "I could give it a shot but my ice attack is not that powerful." Crystal charged up the ball of ice inside her hand, while Falcon had a ball of ice inside its beak. They both shot their ball of ice at Draco. Crystal's ice beam shot across with Falcon's ice blast that span around giving the beam some extra power. Draco saw it coming and flew around the beam making his way towards Falcon and Crystal. When Draco got close to Crystal, he blew out a red hot flame that began to heat up Crystal slowly melting her away. Then the Demon swung his Excalibur at Falcon but Falcon managed to dodge out of the way. Jasmine could see that Falcon and Crystal were in trouble, so she quickly sent them back inside the white crystal. The Dark Demon stared down into Jasmine's eyes, "You're too weak, you will never become a great summoner little girl, now hand over the magic book or your precious mother would be seeing her fate." "That's it, I've had enough of you!" Arthur shouted. The assassin drew out his sword, gripping tightly to the golden eagle's head. He flung himself at the Dark Demon thinking that he had a chance to strike, the Demon swung its hand round and gripped onto Arthur's arm then started to bend it back, "Little girl hand me the book now!" Jasmine looked at Arthur, who was in pain, gripping his teeth trying not to show any sign of weakness. Arthur swung his leg knocking the Demon off Draco. Arthur landed next by the Demon blocking the Demon's path, so that he couldn't escape. "It's alright Jasmine we can do this. Bruno I need your help and you too puppet girl, back me up with those puppets of yours." "Yes I will and by the way, my name's Rose, the puppet master!" Bruno stepped forward becoming face to face with his worst enemy. "I see that you managed to break the spell, how was it being a wolf Dopey," demanded the Demon. Bruno snapped back with a brave answer, "Now that I am back I can kick your ass!" "I thought you would want to tell me about your wolf life but very well give it your best shot." Bruno and Arthur charged at the Demon with their fists gripped tightly in a circular ball. When they got close the Demon swung his sword around. Bruno and Arthur ducked for cover, while bringing their fists up into the Demon's chin, blowing the Dark Demon off his feet. "That's for all the damage you have coursed to Pandora. Now this next blow is for the life of the innocent people and animals that you have killed!" shouted Bruno. Bruno's fists started to set on flames. He rushed forward ready to face his worst nightmare once again but the Demon wasn't going to be surprised this time. This time the Demon focused on Bruno's red hot fist that was heating up. Bruno swung his fists trying to lay a hit on the Demon but the Demon kept on dodging and taking steps back. Bruno aimed for the Demon's chest once more. "You fool, you think you can get me with the same attack," the Demon explained. "No you're the fool," Bruno suggested.
Will Bruno manage to make contact with the Demon and why has Bruno's fists gone on fire. I thought he said monks can't do any magic that they use physical strength.
